COURSE PREFACE

Taught in a live environment this course takes the trainee out to the field to experience a variety of set-up procedures with manholes Gas Testing, Venting and preparation for opening existing splices.

Work area protection, manhole safety, venting, pumping are all included and are hands-on demonstrated in roadways and shoulder right-of-ways both in congested and non-congested environments.

OVERALL COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course the trainee will know how to:

• Safely set-up work operations in the underground for necessary

work activities.
