COURSE PREFACE
Students are thoroughly covered on all OSHA requirements for shoring and trenching. All field work operations are likewise monitored for a safe working environment with a focus on proper safety procedures working aloft and on the ground. Emphasis is made on all safety gear, both power and hand tools being properly used at all times.
Print Reading and Plat Reading are integrated for complete understanding of work operations.
Students learn the proper method of removing and replacing all closure types both aerial and ground.
All wire work applications will be described and understood so that service interruptions will be avoided.
Handling, working and understanding Job Prints.
The focus on proper bonding and grounding is
an integral part of the course that each student will fully understand and
demonstrate.
